Single stage refrigeration device (TEC)

Single stage thermoelectric refrigeration device (TEC), also known as thermoelectric refrigeration module or thermoelectric refrigeration chip, is usually composed of many pairs of p, n type semiconductor couple arms in series or in parallel. When a low-voltage direct current is connected, the heat will be transferred from one end of the thermoelectric refrigeration device to the other, resulting in one side of the device cooling (cold side) and the other side heating (hot side). When the direction of current changes, heat will be transferred in the opposite direction. Therefore, TEC can be applied to specific occasions requiring refrigeration or heating.
